Hainan Island 6 days tour (26th May 2007 to 31st May 2007)



Interesting Highlights (before i have time to fully develop on the other areas)



1) Hometown visit. This is the second time back, first time was 12 years back when i was only 11 years old. Going back as an adult, as a grown up, as a graduate who has supposedly done the family proud.. it does feel very different. esp so when i see all my cousins married and with kids. wow..



2) Beach ride - same day as hometown visit. one of my cousin actually rents the beach vehicles to tourists. so on that particular day, since its off peak season. i got the chance to ride all the way from the house to the beach, across the beach x2 and back home. hee. guess what i got swung out of the "car" cause of some miscontrol by the driver - 1 5yr old girl (niece) who almost rammed both of us up into the back of a electrical trishaw. she's good on the beach, able to control etc, but at that time it seems that she can't break, or didn't want to break and was driving straight towards the bumper so i swung the wheel around and next thing i know, i'm flying out of my seat, into the sand and grass patch. she's still at her seat but 2secs later, she's thrown off onto the side and the bike comes to an end. i looked up and saw that she's almost under the bike. .... scary... i was so scared that she hurt herself badly. but it seems that i'm the one hurting at the end of the day.



3) Day 3, Yalong Bay "are my mascarra still on, got smudge?" caught by the camera. haha. crap. i was just talking to pris about my mascara and we were caught, i was pointing to my eye, gesturing and my mouth was wide open. crap..



4) Day 4, Nanshan - 40degree celsius. hotest day so far. and i got sun burnt. its peeling off pretty badly since beginning this week... trust me, i'm really tan now. or rather, only my arms are tan. my shoulder is red and sore. but miracously my face is still in good shade. hee. but that place is really beautiful...

5) Day 6, car tour around haikou. i didn't see anything from haikou accept the bridge. cause the rest i fell asleep. haha. thats the thing, i slept throughout my haikou trip. my brother did too. haha.
